The Department of Economics was established in 2019.The Department offers undergraduate, post graduate & PhD programs in Economics. The department aims for the holistic development of the students by imparting and nurturing in them the qualities of Knowledge, Skills, Behavior and Attitude. These programmed are so designed to produce personnel trained in application of knowledge in real life economic, financial and analytical problems encountered in the economy.
It is also designed to provide the student with skills and professional acumen to become key players in the economy irrespective of their future places and task diversification they would take up.
These courses have a rigorous focus on quantitative techniques and research methods which will orient the students in dealing with economic problems with a practical and analytical approach. After the completion of the each course the student receive sufficient experience of the current issues and crisis of the world, especially that of emerging economies.
The Department of Economics of JECRC University now known as the Jaipur School of Economics has very supportive and cooperative faculty members who do not bind you to learn inside the four walls but drives you to gain knowledge from every aspect.
